Daily Use: Wash in cool water to prolong the beeswax finish. Make sure to wash all sides of the board to avoid warping.
Periodically: If the finish becomes dull, simply apply and food-grade oil to the surface, let penetrate for 20 minutes, and wipe the excess off.
We use food-grade mineral oil in the creation of our boards, but a simple olive oil would also do the trick.
Follow up with an application of a food-grade beeswax finish over the freshly oiled surface for a long lasting luster.
Your Tarmac Creations CUtting Board also comes with a lifetime service guarantee. We will resurface your board to reduce the deep gouges from normal use, re-oil, wax and return to you for no extra charge*.
In the event that your board can no longer be resurfaced, we will up-cycle your board and give you $10 off the plurchase of a new Tarmac Creations Cutting Board.
